So beautiful. I've been toying with this very idea and you've articulated it so well.
"What kind of unique-to-you beauty might be waiting to be created because of your pain?"
If I'm honest, I've spent so much time avoiding pain that I don't even know. But I'm making it a resolution for next year to embrace the fear and pain that arises in me on a daily basis. That's where the energy will come from to make beautiful things.
Aha fair point! I think I now just see it as another opportunity for an experiment to be honest :) i mean, if the occasion exists to invite change, why resist it? ;)
What a way to meet pain. Takes strength, trust, and love to honour your experience like this. Thank you for sharing how it resonated with you, Joseph... I knew it would :)

Zan, since when do you think in the context of next year resolutions? ;)
Well, if this shift is ahead of you, then I'm really curious... what kind of unique-to-you beauty is waiting to be created because of your pain.

Ha! You like experiments. A lightbulb moment.
This is how I've been handling pain recently. Slowing down, feeling deeply, listening to myself and transmuting.
